National Asphalte installs curbs in Laval, on the North Shore and in Montreal, around driveways and parking lots.
Just like under asphalt, the work starts with an excavated and compacted base.
A curb set on soft ground ends up leaning, then breaking.
What a curb does for your driveway
- It holds the edge. Without support, the edge of an asphalt driveway crumbles bit by bit. The curb keeps it in place, from one winter to the next.
- It keeps a clean line. The driveway stops exactly where it should. Your car wheels stay on the surface, and the lawn is spared.
A curb set on a solid base
A curb should stay straight as long as the driveway it holds. We excavate along the driveway, then compact a stone base under the curb. Next, we set the curb in line with the edge of the driveway.
For driveways and parking lots alike
At home, the curb frames the driveway and separates it from the lawn or the flower bed. In a commercial parking lot, curbs shape the lanes and protect the landscaped islands. We also do industrial and municipal work.
A complete driveway, from the ground to its surroundings
National Asphalte excavates and paves your driveway, and also installs its curbs. Natural stone walls and steps are also part of the surroundings we build. Basement window wells go in during the excavation.
