### Does an asphalt driveway need a curb?

No, an asphalt driveway can do without one. Without a curb, though, its edge stays more fragile and crumbles faster. A curb holds it in place and gives the yard a clean finish. We advise you at no charge, based on your driveway and your budget.

### Can a curb break in winter?

Yes, if its base moves or if a snowplow hits it. Water that freezes under a poorly supported curb lifts it, then the thaw lets it settle crooked. A curb set on an excavated and compacted base stays straight longer. That's why we take care of the base before setting the curb.

### Can you redo a broken curb?

Yes, we do all kinds of repairs, curbs included. A curb that leans or breaks often shows a base that has moved. We remove the damaged section and rebuild the base underneath. Then we set the new curb, lined up with the rest.
